Challenges can seem like unclimbable mountains. This inspiring work is about taking on those challenges and overcoming them. Written for advanced musicians, it uses nontraditional mixed and asymmetric meters and intense rhythms to drive the piece forward. An epic climax ends the work in a celebration of triumph for conquering that mountain.
