Robert Langenfeld Compositions

In the fall of 2012, I was starting my final year of college at Northwest Missouri State University. Our new low brass professor Dr. Kendall Prinz approached me about writing a new piece for Tuba that he would perform at the 2013 Great Plains Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference. I happily agreed and wrote this 3 movement work.

Illusions is a 3 movement work where each movement is based on a different optical illusion. I wrote each movement as if I had imagine what music would be associated with each illusion.

A great contest piece!
